In original half cloth spine over stiff card boards, with printed paper title label on front board, in pictorial dust wrapper, which has sunned spine and minor edge wear; otherwise a very good copy. Decorated by vignettes, including title page, head, tail and endpiece, and by publisher's device. Fourteen songs with words and music, setting verses from When We Were Young, published 1924, by A. A. Milne (1882-1956). The music is by Harold Fraser-Simpson (1879-1976), composer of light music and perhaps best known for his settings of children's verse. The vignette drawings are by the famous children's book illustrator, E. H. Shepard (1879-1976). Seventh edition of the title first published 1924.
