Ernest Benn Ltd.
4to, 11 x 8.5 inches, xv + 359pp. Bound in dark blue cloth with title in silver. A very good copy indeed in a like dust wrapper that has only a tiny tear to the base of the spine and is protected by a plastic sleeve. Profusely illustrated by plates of early and later examples of fine printing, som in colour, some rubricated, with a table of Roman Types mentioned in one article. An excellent copy of an interesting volume of 23 articles that appeared in 'The Fleuron - A Journal of Typography', published between 1923 and 1930. Even at the time of this book's publication, copies of The Fleuron were "virtually impossible to come by" making this an essential addition to the library of any lover of the printed word.
