A study of the natural order and harmony and disharmony in the use of colours, by Henry Barrett Carpenter (1861-1931), artist and former head of Rochdale School of Art. An expanded version, with additional examples of applied colour in the appendix, of the earlier editions of 1915 and 1923, with a preface by Marjorie A. Carpenter. Includes twenty five attractive colour plates.
