Preserved within the original plum cloth-covered boards with green, printed paper labels to upper and lower boards, the upper having a vignette view of Alexandra Palace. The linen lining has weakened and at one fold has split.

Large folding, hand-coloured map, dissected and laid on to linen, 31 x 25 inches, showing from Potters Bar to Caterham and Uxbridge to Dartford. Eight page Guide pasted to front pastedown with an advertisement to the map end fold.
The colouring on this map is particularly vibrant and attractive and it would benefit from relining.
