8vo. 9 x 5.75 inches. xxxviii + 193 pp. +  +  pp. limited edition statement. In stiff card boards folded and lightly pasted with patterned paper, loosely encased in green boards with printed paper spine label and patterned endpapers, in slip case of of the same pattern. Deckled fore edge. Minor wear to green board and a little darkening of slipcase, but otherwise a very good copy. 1931 printed ownership label with three names on first free endpaper. Sir Philip Sidney's famous sonnet sequence adapted by him from the Petrarchan form from Italy. The editor, Mona Wilson (1872-1954) also published a biography or Sir Philip Sidney in the same year as this attractive Nonesuch Press edition. The Press was founded in London in 1922.
