Arch Through The Folkestone Railroad.
In fine condition.
26 September 1845,
Original watercolour, 9 x 4.75 inches, mounted in conservation materials, outer size 13.5 x 9.5 inches.
View facing south down Guildhall Street, through what is known today as the Darlington Arch. The parish church of St Eanswythe is seen in the background, and a new building is under construction to left of the road, still surrounded by scaffolding. However the land between the backs of houses centred on the church and the arch remains undeveloped.
