An 1857 atlas of the world in twenty six hand coloured maps, primarily intended for use of schools. This title is scarce compared with his A New General Atlas of Modern Geography, although there were earlier editions of 1843 and 1854. James Wyld (1812-87) succeeded his father, James Wyld the Elder, in the family map making business in 1836. He served as one of the MPs for Bodmin, 1847-52.
