Minor wear to extremities and browning of flyleaves, but otherwise a very good copy. A novel by Vita Sackville-West, of extreme old age, in which Lady Slane, widow of an ex-Viceroy and Prime Minister looks back on her life and family. An underlying theme is women's control of their lives. First published in 1931, this is a reprint of the 1965 edition.
