Includes general description of the parish and Gadshill, transcriptions of the church monuments, extracts from the registers, a natural history section with lists of animals, birds, plants, etc. found in the parish and a list of ratepayers and owners for 1700 and 1881. The Rev. Cecil Henry Fielding published several other works of church and local history. A scarce title; COPAC records only four copies, at the British Library, Universities of Leicester and London and the London Library.
